Returns & Refund Policy

1. Overview
At The AI Toolkit, we are committed to providing high-quality digital guidebooks to support students in their studies. Because our products are digital downloads, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind purchases. However, we will always comply with our obligations under New Zealand consumer law.

2. Digital Products & Refunds
Due to the nature of digital products, once a purchase is completed and the download link is provided, refunds are generally not available. This is because digital goods cannot be “returned” in the same way as physical products.

3. Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), you are entitled to a remedy if the product you purchased is:

  • Faulty or defective.

  • Not as described or advertised.

  • Unfit for its intended purpose.

If your guidebook falls under these criteria, we will offer a full refund.

4. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund or remedy under the CGA, please contact us within 7 days of purchase with the following information:

  • Your order number.

  • A description of the issue.

  • Any supporting screenshots or evidence.

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.

5. Access to Digital Products After Refunds
In cases where a refund is approved, access to the digital product may be revoked or download links disabled. We appreciate your understanding as this helps protect our content.

6. Change of Mind Policy
We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases or if you decide the product is no longer needed after purchase. Please ensure you read the product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
